Case study 1) www.H2onics.co.uk
Site description (and links!) :
Hard Water A great site
for water softeners with magnetic water conditioning meaning water
softening using no salt!
Customer comments / feedback :
We had been with and ISP for over two years. They provided a four
page website which produced no sales in two years.
We have been with best-web-site-design.co.uk for a year. Immediately
the website was reconstructed and expanded. We now average around
140 visitors a day, providing substantial sales which has restored
our faith in the Internet. Constant contact and advice has produced
the
results. Thank you best-web-site-design for your expertise and professionalism.

The customers brief to us at the start of the period: Get
any visitors to the site!
There were no visitors at all to the site! They had been with a
hosting and 'promotion' company for two years without attracting
many (if any) visitors to the site. The first month of monitoring
existing traffic (as requested by our customer) produced zero visitors.
The existing company had promoted the use of 'search engine registration'
as the way to promote the company.
Solution: This was a small site and had no real structure.
As there was little there already, we carried out the following
procedures:
1) Optimisation of existing graphics (made them quicker to load
for any visitors who made it there).
2) Addition of extra pages to give more information on the site
product and provide mechanisms for customers to respond and order
on line securely.
3) Re structuring of site to allow for easy navigation (important
for search engines to find their way around also!).
4) Key word analysis of their market to provide the key word phrases
that people were searching for on the Internet (using Wordtracker
- see our word tracker
page).
5) Incorporation of key word phrases (including common mis spellings)
in order to gain visitors to the site, based upon those found in
4).
6) Registration (immediate and on going hand registration with
the major search engines, including some Inktomi paid inclusion)
in order to get listed on search engines.

SilverSurfers.net, the leading site for UK over 50s, wanted to
expand its visitors. Within 3 months, as a result of best-web-site-design.co.uk,
traffic to SilverSurfers had expanded five-fold, an amazing achievement.

The customers brief to us at the start of the period: Increase
visitors to the site to a level of 1000 visitors to the FRONT page
per day.
There were already substantial visitors to the site including the
use of 'Google ads' to pay for top placement of certain key words
and phrases. The customer wanted a continuous and on going supply
of visitors to the top (home) page of the site to a level of 1000
visitors a day (it being around 100 + per day at the time).
This is a rapidly changing web site with hundreds of pages, edited
by the web site contributors. As such we could not control the structure
of the site or the content and did not want to alter existing traffic
patterns. Added to this we had to specifically drive visitors to
the front page in order to get repeated visitors to the site in
future.
Solution:
1) Production of a new web site pages and structure changes to
the site.
2) Addition of around eight pages based upon existing site pages
from topics within their site, in order to allow us to have 'control'
of the structure of pages.
3) Key word analysis of their market to provide the key word phrases
that people were searching for on the Internet (using Wordtracker
- see our word tracker
page).
4) Incorporation of key word phrases (including common mis spellings)
in order to gain visitors to the site, based upon those found in
3)
5) Registration (immediate and on going hand registration with
the major search engines, including some Inktomi paid inclusion)
in order to get listed on search engines.
