Introduction:
This section gives a simple guide to web site design choices for
the beginner and useful tips that can be used by the more advanced
web designer.
In particular we concentrate here on the essential basics to make
your web site appeal to as many people as possible whilst not compromising
on the design that you require. As the section develops we will
discuss other issues directly to do with page design and compatibility.
Aims of this section
We hope you will find this to be a valuable resource whether
you are new to the web or are looking to improve your existing site.
Information here is given based upon experience since 1998 when
we first started producing web sites.
This has developed through actually producing web sites, research
and interacting with customers and other web masters over the years.

content and design advice.
Because web design software is freely available, we have started
this guide not as an html tutor, this being largely superfluous
for many users needs. Instead we have taken the approach of discussing
HOW you go about producing the content for a site, rather than the
mechanics of site building itself. The section will expand over
time, so please do come back and feel free to make suggestions for
further topics (click here).
We want your feedback
All constructive feedback is welcome. If you feel we
have omitted some facts or you have experience that you wish to
share please let us know (click
here). We welcome articles from experience webmasters on any
aspects of web design and development or promotion. Articles where
used, will be credited to the author. In addition, you may use items
within the tips section on your web site provided you gain specific
e-mailed consent from us and you link back to this section from
your pages.
