Can any design be used or do you just use set templates?
Ans: Pretty much any layout can be used but we would advise you
ask if uncertain, as we like to make things as easy to update for
you as we can. Currently you have a choice of automated menus to
use, including text, image roll overs, bullet points, JavaScript
drop downs with either text or images, and menus vertically or horizontally.
The system is extremely flexible using most graphic designs that
you could require. We do not currently support frames based sites.
We usually design an original layout for each new client but some
people decide to do the entire site by themselves.

Do I need software to update my site?
Ans: No, you only need your web browser (Internet Explorer 5 or
Firefox above for a Windows PCs or Firefox for Apples) in order
to update, add and delete pages from your site. We now even have
options for resizing image as you upload so that you can make the
images appropriate for the web page. If you want Flash incorporated
into your site, you will need to purchase the Macromedia Flash package,
unless you wish us to design the Flash elements for you, or you
buy them ready made elsewhere.

I do not have any technical knowledge, is the site easy to use?
Ans: Yes - we hope very! We give free phone tuition within our
prices (usually up to two half hour slots, as you require) with
further free help thereafter. We value the time, as it helps us
to improve our product and service. The site has been designed
to make it logical and easy to find your way around - if you can
read this page then you can produce the site. There are links to
the help pages wherever you are in the system, and we are only a
phone call away if you need to speak with us on any points. We frequently
have people tell us how easy they find the system to be.

How will I edit my website?
Ans: We have a control panel online to allow you access to and editing
of your web site using your web browser. You need Internet Explorer
5 or Firefox above for a Windows PCs or Firefox for Apples.

Several of us will want to update the site - can we?
Ans: You can update the site using the standard administration facility
- which can be used by a few users provided they can be trusted
- we would not advise you work on the site at the same time though,
to avoid confusion. We have a further facility to allow many users
access to restricted areas, defined by the main administrator -
but this is at extra cost. This allows you to have contributor users
who can add to but not publish certain areas that you define.
However, we have a simple and advanced option as standard
within the web builder to allow every day users a less cluttered
view of the editor, whilst the main administrator can easily switch
on the more advanced options (this is all through the same interface
- not actually different users).

Am I limited to the number of pages I can add?
Ans: You can add as many sections, subsections pages, categories
and products as you wish depending upon the package that you require.

Can people see pages that I am editing online?
Ans: No. If you publish a page, it is at this point that the information
becomes live to the Internet. If you are actually editing a page,
these alterations do not take effect until you re publish the page.
You have ample opportunity to test the look of the pages you produce
and can preview the page as it will look on the live site before
making it public.

Can people see products that I am editing online?
Ans: YES. Once you add a product or category, it becomes live immediately.
